We provide after-hours, on-call, on-site testing services for post-accident and reasonable suspicion for D.O.T and Non-D.O.T employers.

POST-ACCIDENT

If there are injuries to the employee(s) as a result of an accident, you the employer, must offer medical attention. Once the employee has been treated for his or her injuries and released from care, they must return to the worksite. You are welcome to call us once the employee is released from care so that we are able to perform the required tests as quickly as possible. Most employers call as they are leaving the medical facility to coordinate our arrival.

A Supervisor must place the call for testing. The same supervisor must be present when the Technician arrives and remain with the Technician and the employee until the required tests are completed.

Safety is always our first concern! If the employee is non-compliant or hostile at any time during the testing process, the process may be terminated. Additionally, if there are questions regarding the Human Resource Process or Company Policy, the Technician would refer that employee to the supervisor.

If the employee refuses medical attention, we suggest the supervisor documents this conversation prior to contacting our Technician.

REASONABLE SUSPICION

In the case of Reasonable Suspicion, it is recommended that the supervisor conduct an interview with the employee to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require an employee to undergo testing. This conversation should be documented by the supervisor. Once the determination is made, the supervisor should then contact our Technician and place an order for testing. Our Technician should arrive within 60 – 90 minutes of the call, barring any unfavorable travel conditions. The Technician will communicate to the supervisor their estimated time of arrival.

The same supervisor must be present when the Technician arrives and remain with the Technician and the employee until the required tests are completed.

If the employee is non-compliant or hostile at any time during the testing process, the process may be terminated.

Additionally, if there are questions regarding the Human Resource Process or Company Policy, the Technician would refer that employee to the supervisor, as we are not aware of individual company policies.
